I know this was posted about before, the method being from the MissouriQuiltCo.com or on YouTube.

This week I need to create a couple of 12 1/2 inch blocks to send for a QOV quilt and I wanted to do something fast and easy. So I tried this method and wow I love it. I did starch the fabric to make it stiff and to keep the bias from stretching.

The big one turned out just right, the smaller pinwheel in a frame came out a smidge less than I wanted all around and I did not want to make it smaller by trimming it perfectly square.

I also love pinwheels. It was one of the first blocks I ever made. They look so cheerful!

My last quilt I posted a picture of on here was Pinwheels and Sunflowers I used the same tute and cut mine 4-1/2" squares, so the pinwheels were a little smaller.
I do like the larger pinwheels and will make another.

I love pinwheels, but have never been brave enough to try them. Maybe I will give it a go with this tute.

I love this method as well, but being in the math stupid category, would some one who has time and (lots of) scraps measure and cut the larger block that would be needed for the 3-1/5 inch blocks? The one that is demonstrated on MSQ makes the blocks smaller than that size. Is it a 7 inch or a 6 in ch or 7.5 inch square....okay, stupid and really (lazy) chicken to start cutting and experimenting.....
