I have a problem, I thought I just uploaded two photos of quilts I made for my sister's shop to showcase fabric collections, but I can't find them anywhere.....
Anyone got any suggestions as to where they could be???? |

If the photos disappear this time I'll know it's time to go to bed! The first quilt is themed on the story of mother duck who went out to look for her babies The other quilt is called "Check out the bedroom sweet" This quilt came together really quickly after I sketched the design for the block during an exam supervision session - about 5 yrs ago [ATTACH=CONFIG]26920[/ATTACH] This quilt is a flannel, also made for my sister's shop (5yrs ago). The design existed only because my sister described the vibrancy of the fabric. It was designed before I really knew just how bright the fabric was. [ATTACH=CONFIG]26940[/ATTACH] |

I thank all of you for your generous comments. I never really expected that my projects would have so much appeal. I had never thought that I was much of an artist either, I could never draw to help myself and felt very disadvantaged while in high school and everyone else was turning out wonderful paintings.
Fabric gave me my medium, and I love what we can do for each other. Sometimes it's more about what the fabric says about my designs. I love to read/look at/ or is it devour patchwork magazines, but find I make very little of what I see in them. They do inspire me and I often feel nourished by looking at all the beauty therein. |
