I'm new to this forum, but wanted to post a few pictures of what I've done. The completed quilts are pretty old. I have three blocks for a sampler that I started last week, but don't have room here to post them. I'll do that another time. I am anxiously awaiting for the long-arm quilter to finish the sampler I just finished for my youngest son, then I will post that, also -- it's gorgeous; done in golds, blacks, rusts, greens and browns.
Very first I ever did (made out of jeans), maybe 20 years ago or so. This is when I found that quilting was the best psychotherapy EVER. Welcome to the board! Those look like small squares on the scrap quilt. You have a lot more patience than I do. Nice work. Be sure to show us some of your quilting when you get that long arm!

Great quilts. Love the scrappy one and the jeans one. I have to say I agree with you about the best psychotherapy ever. I was cranky all day today. My mom asked me what was wrong. I told her, I didn't get to quilt!!

Welcome to the board from South Louisiana. Those are lovely "Ducky" quilts. I'll bet that denim one is nice and heavy. My denim rag quilt only gets used on our coldest winter days (and we don't have too many of those :lol: ).
