Here's my latest baby quilt, pattern from fatcatpatterns.

The back is a story I made up about the front animals on the front called off to slumberland. Size of quilt is51"x52"

Such a cute little quilt!! Wonderful color choices and I really like the echo quilting as it just sets off the animals and gives them motion.

Forgot to say that this was all made from my scrap bag, and the back story panel is done with crayons and oilpastels(water soluable).

Thanks Aubrey, it was quite a lot of fun. even though it made a much larger quilt than I expected. Fatcat has a lot of really neat quilt patterns.

Oh, I love this pattern! I've been looking at it for a couple years, wanting to make it for my grandson, but while procrastinating, he seemed to grow up too much for it. I love the pattern, though, and might just still make it for him (he's 3 now, and he got a "transportation" quilt instead, since he loves cars and trucks and trains!!!).

You should do it it is such a fun and freeing pattern, everything came out of my scrap bags. I t goes to its new little owner today, son just stopped by and picked it up. |
