This one has been on the shelf for a couple of months but in the last two days I finished two rows of hearts and now ready to sew the two halves together and do the last row of hearts.
It's going to be a bear to wrestle the entire quilt under the machine to sew on the middle hearts! (this is the quilt in my avatar picture) |
Beautiful!!! Pam, I've visited your blog and love it :D

Very pretty :D:D:D

Oh...that's beautiful! And I love your machine! Lucky you!

That is beautiful!

Wow, when it's finished it's going to be something. I can't wait to see the final quilt. That's a lot of squares.

I'm so glad you posted the picture! I've been wondering where you were. I agree that the obligations we make when we join RRs or exchanges sometimes get in the way of other things we suddenly want to do. Or do they unleash a burst of creativity just because we can't act on it? Either way, it's dad-gummed hard to do so many things at once!

What a pretty pattern. I don't believe I've ever seen this. Is this something you designed? You picked the right colors for it too. Congratulations.

I started calling this one The Never Ending Quilt. I worked on and on and on with these small pieces and it seemed to never get anywhere. I got to the point where I just couldn't do anymore and had to take a break from it.

Yeah, Joanne... The IRR was waiting for me and I didn't know what to do on it. I wouldn't let myself work on anything else until it was done. That meant I wasn't doing anything and it really got me down where I didn't want to work on anything.
I really need the creative outlet to keep myself balanced (not that I'm unbalanced! :P ). The block pattern is from American Quilter, May 2010 issue. I added the hearts and border. Thanks for visiting the blog. Just somewhere to write out thoughts, designs, etc. |
