Beautiful.

I really like it and the red stitching is great! Did you do that by hand? They look bigger than what could be done on a sewing machine.

deltadawn 12-08-2010 12:35 AM

I love this kind of thing. The gratification is only a few short hours away and no sending out to a long-armer (as much as we love you all and we DO). On another of the pictures that came with this e-mail is a thread where a lady says she can now be called a 'placematter' instead of a quilter. Loved that and love this one that you did. The holiday colors are just so inspiring when put together in such a beautiful way. Wonderful job!!

SandyMac 12-09-2010 08:04 AM

Thank you for your nice comment, yes it is D9P...I made this pattern the first time...and I will try it again because there are more than one possibility to arrange the blocks

I love the D9P - I made a few quilts with it and you can make them look so different.

ozarkmama 12-09-2010 04:58 PM

Beautiful!! Doesn't it feel good to finally make something for yourself. I am so slow that doesn't happen very often for me. :)
