after seeing Champagnolles "bear in bed" I wanted to make one too.
I got 24 blocks, four each in the colors green, red, yellow, purple, blue and bright yellow. Two of each "girls", two boys. Is there a "mathematical" way to lay this blocks out and do you think I should go with sashing or without like Champagnolle? granny the blue fabric has little stars how about other fabric for sashing? I just had the picture that Champagnolle posted on this board. Search for "bears in bed".
I made different 6"blocks and it is a great way to try out different patterns. I got most of them from quilterscache. The Embroidery design I got from allstitching.com. Originally the bears where carrying boards in their paws and the designer was so nice to remove them for me. Like I figured one gets the impression now that they lay under the blanket. |
