I've been posting & asking people to put a link in they're topics to show the pictures of they're finished projects.(For example when someone asks a question about a border color or placement of blocks, I'll ask 'em to post a link to the topic w/ the picture of the finished project.) Well I just realized that I didn't post a picture of my finished footstool!
Here's the link to the original post.http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-76923-1.htm I made a green cover w/ velcro on it. Then sewed the quilted top onto the green cover! |
Good job.

I like it. I bought a foot stool at a thrift store and want to do that also. Just no time lately.

Very clever with the velcro idea. It is pretty but until I saw the velcro involved ,I'd hate to have DH put his feet on it.I'll bet it brightens up the room.

Thanks: ya'll are great!
I think that I need another one! (Need to go on a thrift shopping spree. LOL.) I carry it to every room & put my feet on it!(Even outside!) My legs are short & now with the bad back I need to rest my feet & relieve some of that pressure on my back. The velcro was the best idea I ever had. I wash it about once a week; I guess that i have dirty feet! :) I did use half inch seam allowances because I thought it would get washed alot. I also wash it on delicate & dry it on low. |
