"Firefall" wallhanging
 

In Sept., I visited friends in CA for their 70th birthday party and then we spent 5 days camping at Yosemite National Park. Fire Fall was an old tradition at Christmas time, no longer practiced, of sending flaming logs down a cliff/mountain side. He remembers seeing it as a child. I bought a couple of screen printed postcard panels at the park and when I went to www.OldeAmericaAntiques.com looking for more, I found this panel and decided to make it for him as a Christmas gift. I ordered more postcard/hot pad panels and plan to use them in a quilt for me.
