I made this scrappy for my husband and after I got it done found some eyelashing on the back, oh well (just hope it holds up)! I periodically checked the back, but evidently it wasn't enough. He picked out the fabric for the border, he's a musician on the weekends. I backed it with flannel as he's always cold due to diabetes. Tip: I learned this from a lady who taught a free-motion class to use glycerin on you fingers instead of gloves. The glycerin helps you hold on to the quilt and it doesn't stain the fabric. I buy it in the cake decorating supplies.

Great quilt. I'm going to have to try your tip about using glycerin, instead of quilting gloves. I hate the gloves, but could never hold the quilt well enough without them. If the glycerin works for me, I'll be forever grateful!

Very pretty quilt. I have found eyelashes on the back of a couple quilts. I ripped it all out and redid the quilting. The stitches come out real easy. I found the top threading came out of one of the places and that caused the problem.

boy that is sure bright and pretty! i wonder tho, why would your gloves stain your fabric?

A lovely quilt, I use Clover Non slip finger which is a non greasy stick that you put on your hands and fingers, works a treat which is good as I hate wearing gloves at any time!
