Found the squares at a thrift shop for 75 cents...some already sewn. I finished what they had and added from my scraps. I did the binding by hand and swore a lot. We all have to start somewhere, right?

Neat job, I love thrift store finds. I got 1/3 of my stash from those stores. Even a whole quilt top unsewn just cut into 5"squares. I am going to make my hubby a bear paw quilt with it for Christmas.

how nice, lots of color and shapes. It will be your most favorite, watch and see!

Cool. What great buys that turned into a great quilt. Most of my quilts have been sprinkled with a few bad words along the way.

What a great way to start!! You will amaze yourself if you stay with it!! I love looking for fabrics at thrift stores. Not that I need the fabric I just love rescuing it and putting it to another use!! I guess that's left over from our pioneer heritage. Keep quilting and show us what you do next!!
