I just started a twin-sized quilt for one of my cousin's kid (1 of 6). I am working it off of one of the tutorials given on the board. Hopefully, I took really good notes and don't forget anything

Half of the squares cross-stitched

Second half of squares-need more batting cut(I can't count too well. I only cut out half of what was needed)

I'm cutting batting for one of these, might take me a while!

Rag Quilts are fun and forgiving when they are sewn. Nice colors.

I love the lilac. Are you using flannel? It will be pretty. I made one for a full size bed. Have been using it on my bed, but since it is a full size, it is very heavy. So I will be removing it soon. LOL

Would love to see yours when you finish.

I love the colors. I hope 1 day soon to make a rag quilt. Keep posting as you finish. :)

would just two pieces of flannel be enough to make a rag quilt or do I need the batting. Thanks -J

I would think that two pieces of flannel would be enough. I did mine with a cotton and a flannel with batting. It turned out "Sufficiently Solid" for lack of a better term. Like I said, it is my first one.
