i don't have a pattern but i was googling and saw sock monsters and wanted to try some. this one was actually a legging and they are surprisingly simple to make. turn the sock inside out, sew two lines that connect in the middle, don't sew the bottom closed. cut inbetween. for the ears, i sewed two part circles that attach in the middle. cut off excess the arms are the other legging i sewed two lines in the middle about a cm apart then cut and turned it all right side out. stuff it, the arms need to be hand sewn on. close it up. i added a stuffing ball inside for the nose and just did some quick stitching around then pulled the thread tight to keep it in place. then add buttons. i will post more as i go.

okay!
2nd one done already, well almost. i'm going to do his face with felt so i'm gonna have to get some tomorrow.
sock #1 is his ears/antena, the heal is his mouth and then his upper legs. sock #2 is his arms and lower legs. came together easier than the 1st one.
oh, also if you add seams on the joints it makes them kinda floppy and bendable which i like better. i'd love for some of you to try making these and post pictures. they are great last minute x-mas projects. (:
