I've been doing a lot of lap quilts, but this is the first table runner I've completed. It's pretty big, and fits perfectly on my kitchen table!

oh WOW, thats looks great. This is your first tablerunner hope mine is just as pretty. I haven't even made one yet, thinking about using some of the boms to make a tablerunner. Love the way your colors are layed out, love it. Thanks for sharing.
I love your tablerunner. Log cabin is one of my favorite blocks. Your work is beautiful.
wow! that is beautiful! is it a pattern (besides being log cabin blocks)?
love your choice of colors. they go well with the darker wood! |
Yes, it's from the book "Mostly Table Runners" from Calico Printworks. Looked easy enough; turned out not to be quite as easy as I thought, but do-able.
This is beautiful! On my to do list as I now know what I want to put on my table. Thanks for sharing.

That looks just GORGOUS!!! You did a great job!
I have been thinking of trying something simular as a runner for my dresser.. You have inspired me to move it closer to the top of the must do list! |
That is striking!! I just love it. I, too, love log cabins. Did you have to inset seams? Thanks for sharing!!
I love it.. The contrast is excellent...
very nice it looks great on that table.....your lines all look so straight..again good job :D :D :D :D :D
Oh how beautiful! I haven't tried making anything like that...you are making me interested in venturing out from anything square...Did I tell you that I can't sew? Quilts are the only thing I can do...LOL.
I just love that table runner! |
BEAUTIFUL.............
That is so pretty. I like the way you left the edges and didn't use setting triangles. I made one that called for them, didn't know how to do it, so ended up just making it a rectangle and not set on point. I like yours better.
It gorgeous and I love the colors and the log cabin blocks!!
Looking good Harmony. Great pattern and colors. :D :D :D Pam :D :D :D
Wow! It's beautiful!!! I love the way your color setting makes it look like the sunlight is running down the center of the table! Thanks for sharing with us. :D :D :D
What a clever pattern! You really made it shine with your fabric choices! It looks like an heirloom. Gorgeous!
My husband would love this - the log cabin is his favorite. It's very nice. I have yet to make something with this block - I love table runners and have made several - seems nice for a change in the dining room - or kitchen!! I want to make some as table scarves... for the bedroom!!

Wonderful! |
Absolutely gorgeous! Think I might try to find that book with the pattern and so some of these for gifts. It's so unique. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! That's beautiful and striking. Just jotted down the name of the book :) I've been looking for table runner patterns. I'm new to quilting and don't feel confident enough to just whip up something on my own. Beautiful job!
