FMQ and 10 minute block pictures
3 Attachment(s)
I started a thread a bit back about challenging yourself to do some FMQ - get some inspiration from this forum and Leah Day's site. The idea was to create a 10 minute block piece and FMQ in the centers - easy for newbies and quick. Jeanne from Oregon wanted to try this as well so we have been emailing back and forth.
I completed a small project and thought I would share the pictures. |

Very inspirational! I love the bowtie effect of your blocks! Looks great and your floral designs add just the right touch!

I love the Leah Day classes. I have learned so much. I am working on the wholecloth class now. I made a large quilt a few months ago and was going to send it out to have quilted. I think I am ready to take the plunge and do it myself. Everyone should check out her website she is a very talented young lady. You did a beautiful job.

very nice-you will be quilting like a pro in no time if this is your 1st.

I like the 10 minute block idea for trying the FMQ patterns. The whole project is a nice practice piece, with a good ending!

Very good. If I could do that, I would be doing larger size quilts. I love the pattern you chose for the solid blocks . You did a nice job.
