FMQ suggestions? What would you do?

This a lap quilt. Pinwheels in the center, an eyelet fabric as the border. The eyelet is thin, so I'm going to have to be delicate with it. I'm probably going to do a meandering loop in the eyelet.

Not sure what I'm going to do in the pinwheels. I don't want to do an SITD. I want something that fills the block. I was thinking of doing large hearts in each block and then meandering in and around the hearts. Or maybe doing a meandering large flower.

Sorry the picture looks a bit off. I took it last night with my phone.

What would you do?

I did swirls on my pinwheel quilt. It might be hard to see in the picture, but they kind of resemble question marks. Here's a picture:

I would do some sort of heavier quilting in the white parts of the pinwheels, and leave the prints alone. They would pop forward that way...

I would do circles to represent the spinning pin wheels.
