Ok, I fixed the corners on the blue one, it just wasn't going together right, so off it came and I put new ones on. :)

Almost done

Now, the finished product!

The scalloped border was a chore. The corners aren't quite there as of yet, but it's still really cute and if I were to give it to someone, I'm sure they would overlook that part.

So, what do you think??

It looks great! Nice work on all the blanket stitching!

Terri,
You did a really great job on it. So retro! I would make some cute tassles to hang from the corners to make that look intentional and they would never know the difference. I love it!

That's a GREAT idea!
Ben Franklin's has a bunch of tassels on their clearance rack. COOL! Guess where I'm going tomorrow! lol

You know, looking at it again, the yellow square throws it off a bit, but ya know what? I don't care! I still think it's pretty and my favorite is the blue block. Gotta love that cobalt blue!

Terri---love the scalloped edge....
Now, that's something else I need to learn how to do..
The blanket stictch (machine?) is lovely around all the pieces!

It looks great ! Love the way it came out. I have never seen scallops done that way. Tassels will really make it stand out!

Yes Joan,,,it's machined. It takes a bit of time to get it right. I play with the size of the stitch and make sure I write it down before shutting the machine off for the night. If I don't, everything goes back to the way it was and I lose my settings. Lite Heat and Bond is my friend! I buy it by the yard! Much cheaper that way. I think the last time I bought it, it was $1.99/yd vs 2 yds for $5. I bought 10 yards last time I got some. lol

Gorgeous! Were the scallops hard to make? I've never seen any like that either.
