Robert Kaufman's site has this free purse pattern.
it's a bit large for me though! I still have the coin purse to do. i used some stiffish interfacing. made it difficult to work with. my machine refused to sew over the ruffle area in the front. too thick!!
i did it with Walmart precut fabrics.

Nice job. Maybe it could be used for a tote? I would lose everything I have in there if I used it for a purse but it would be great to take stuff to sewing classes. Very pretty.
