I bought these and the fringe is throwing me off. I could cut the fringe off, but that's alot of cutting. It is not long enough to knot together, and besides I don't want to do that anyway.

I am open to suggestions. Please help.

How big is the piece?

They're used to make rag quilts. Do a search for rag quilts, and you will see lots and lots of examples of how these are used. The ones you have are simply precut for you already. I included one link for you:

Oh nice kitty fabric -- yes, just sew WRONG sides together -- the fringe stays on the front.... :D

is it fleece?

Could do it like a "puff" quilt, A man at the fair did one and STUFFED it with his wifes knee highs!! She had hundreds with runs/holes ect. Was saving them but never knew for what. Now hubby is sleeping under them . Ended up being quite heavy but warm!!!!

there are some being sold on this forum like that too. already cut on the edges.

I just question what happened to the corners? You're supposed to leave them on and clip them after sewing, to mimic the other fringe. Odd.
