I just got the Fun & Done template and pattern for Easy Diamond. Thought I would play around with just one piece for top. Used just a squirt (could have used more) of 505 on top and bottom of batting, did some top stitching and the sides. Two of the sides are too wide, but hey...live and learn. Solid piece top would be good for different novelty print in each square.

I see I'm going to have to get better at posting pictures. The flash was too bright and you couldn't see any stitch detail and not using the flash washed out the color...very bright colors! This time the pictures posted in the order that I attached them :x

I fun with it. I purchase one, but haven't tried it yet. Looking forward to it, but have several WIP's in front to do first.

You had fun and it's done :D I like it!!!! :D :D

wow, amma's right, you had fun, and it is done. Now you have a nice little pot holder, coaster, whatever, but you also have some confidence under your belt. My problem is I won't reach in stash and go for it. I divide everything into bundles for ppl, usually no pattern in mind yet, so afraid, if I use anything, there won't be enough there when time comes.
I got to get more spontaneous, and creative like this. looks good. :D
