Finally finished my 4-square using Civile War reproduction fabrics. I machine-pieced, machine SID, machine-quilted the border usingt my new Janome. Machine worked fine. It was just me, trying to rush the quilting...so, please don't look too closely or you might be disappointed. Thanks to all who advise me earlier. Having a bit of trouble trying to attach...bear with me. Happy stitchin'

P.S. The reds are dark red, not this bright...Was our camera's fault.

Very nice! Looks perfect from here. I love the red and white strips, they really set off the blocks.

Really nice. Very manly too. I especially like the red because it kind of looks like an overlay. Gives it depth.
