Are the geisha's printed panels or are they pieced?
Did you do all the embroidery?
Was the embroidery done before or after quilting?

Can we see some closeups of some of the embroidery? The phoenix and the gold mums are stunning!

Those are terriffic-I have several Geisha panels that I have been saving to try to incorporate into a lalrge quilt for a king sized bed-those are absolutely georgeous

Wow, how creative is that!! I sold these exact panels at my guild's fabric sale in September, I'd had them for years and didn't know what the heck to do with them. NEVER would have thought to add embroidery, you did a beautiful job!
