Get on your galloping horse..I had soo much trouble matching points on this one..

Hi everyone, I followed the star BOM along with board members here last year and struggled matching points each month. By July, I was ready to give up on the this project and in fact stopped making blocks, but I pulled the blocks I have last month, and decided that I love the fabric too much to let it go, lol, so went back and made the stars I missed and put them together. Please get on a galloping horse as you view this quilt and don't look too close, lol. My husband says it's pretty and he sees nothing wrong with it, but I see all the mismatched points when I look at it, lol.
It measures 65 by 80some and I quilted it with all over loops. I also embroidered a label for it with the embroidery machine I bought recently. Thanks all for looking, and star BOM participants: thanks for posting the blocks each month. |
I think it looks great. I guess all mine would not match if I tried to do that one. Good job. I side with you hubby.

It is very, very pretty. I am so glad you finished it, much too pretty to have sitting half done. Listen to your husband, you are probably the only one who will be bothered by the points not being perfect.

You're too hard on yourself. You made it so it is lovely and something to cherish. Listen to your husband.

Looks like you intentionally made "wonky" stars my friend, it's an awesome quilt. We LOVE "wonky" stars.

Very nice!

Beautiful.. I agree, the fabric is to pretty to be wasted so finished is good!

My horse was galloping along & he came to an abrupt stop when your quilt came into view. It is so pretty and you should be very proud of it. (Even my horse likes it & he's very picky. LOL)
