I was there today, too! It was a very nice show - and I remember most of the ones you showed. Loved the Celtic Knot - but I know the only way I will make one is if someone else makes the blocks for me to put together!!! I didn't know they were having any classes though. I'll have to look into that next year.

yes a lady from billings was teaching how to color with crayons on fabric and then you embroider around the image that you colored. of course i didn't take any pix of her quilts! i thought i did. i am so mad that i didn't get any pix of her quilts. she's from "Sew Be It" so i'm hoping that she has a website.
wish i would have known that you were going we could have met up for lunch or something, Marlys. Maybe next year |
Kudos on a successful show!! Yay! It is over, so take a breath.

I did see that activity going on - I think it was Cheryl Whittmeier (?spelling) teaching the class. She designs the patterns for Sew Be It and teaches classes all over the country. I believe she is from Billings. I knew she was being featured at the show, but didn't know she was the one doing the class. I overheard the gentleman at the table with all of her patterns talking about how busy she has been. She had some awesome patterns there. OK, next time I plan to go to a quilt show I will post it and see if anyone else is going. It would be fun to meet some people from the board!
