Making comfort quilts. Simple designs, big patches, finished one top, put it on the design wall just to get it out of the way while I cut the backing and batting. Oops!
Had to think... fix it? leave it as-is? Kids wouldn't notice the error - would they? Would DH notice? Called him in to look... asked him if he saw anything wrong... he commented on the fabrics! Too dark? No, asked him if he noticed anything wrong in "this area" - Oh, he said, I noticed that right away, I thought you meant to do that. Huh? Well if DH noticed it, then it definitely needs to be fixed. Second picture - fixed and quilted. It only took a few minutes to unsew and flip the block around. |
Either version is great. My "rule" if I always wish I would of fixed it..........fix it! If it doesn't bother me....move on:)

Yeah, I would have fixed it too. Not a big thing to fix but something I would not have forgotten every time I looked at it.
I am getting ready to layer my latest and keep looking and photographing (that somehow helps find boo boos) before I put it together. Don't want a surprise after it is really too late! I like this quilt of yours! |
It looks great now! I would have fixed it too.
|
Looks great! I would have fixed it also! ;)

I would do like you and fixed it, it would have bothered me every time I looked at it.

Very cute quilt! (Isn't funny how we can get so far before even noticing something like this...I've been there a few times myself!)
