Hey...that's some pretty popular floral fabric you have there! I sent some to someone on here who ran out making a project, and I used some in a mini quilt I made for a swap on this board.

LOVE that block!! Lovely!! Maybe try a green tone on tone border that matches the green in the floral fabric.

Rosyhf 09-29-2010 03:16 PM

Oh wow, it is beautiful. I would choose one of the deep rose color and also a one inch border of one of the medium colors of the flowers. You have a lot of blue and gold already so you need to add the third color to make it come together.

nativetexan 09-29-2010 03:26 PM

i like the deep rose too.

brenda21 09-29-2010 03:33 PM

pojo 09-29-2010 03:33 PM

I would choose blue.

dbries 09-29-2010 03:47 PM

I like the design. I like the suggestion of a blue sashing and the a fabric border.

Linda1 09-29-2010 03:52 PM

That is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love the colors. I think a blue border would look nice but of course blue is my favorite color.

MinnieKat 09-29-2010 05:07 PM

I think a narrow blue border then a wider border of the floral.

beauiful...I would put a 2" white border first, then either a blue or rose for outlining then the floral order.

ddwgram 10-03-2010 08:18 PM

I have a few Gods Eye blocks here, but they were done in a black background and batiks.
I would use a dark rose color for a 1" border too

Donna P 10-04-2010 04:38 AM

Thank you for all your wonderful compliments on my quilt...I like this pattern and want to do it again in different colors, it's an easy pattern to do so that helps....I like easy. There is so much talent in this group I could spend all day just looking at pictures...LOL
