Here's what I found at Goodwill's 50% off sale yesterday.

Two Applique Quilt Kits complete with fabric for top, binding, Applique fabrics, embroidery floss. One had been $58 when orginally bought and the other had been $48. I got them for $2.50 each. Neither had ever been taken from the package.

One is "Tulips Dance" and the other is Garland of Roses.

I went to goodwill today just because everyone finds such good things there. I did't see anything like this.. perhaps next time i'll look a little harder lol.. Nice finds for sure.

the thing with the Good will or thrift stores in general is sometimes you have to go a zillion times before you find anything. it is very hit or miss, mostly miss, but when you do find something it is like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Same thing with garage sales, I find.

Wow! somebody didn't know what it was.

I have a hard time finding bargains around here lately. I live in a quilting community so everyone hits the thrift shops looking for bargains.
