Goodies I bought in some of the Ga. Quilt shops I have visited since I have been here
 

I am in the Marietta Ga. area right now and I have been hitting several of the quilt shops in the area. Little Quilts, Tiny Stitches and a short trip to McDonough to A Scarlet Thread. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dolphins and was thrilled when I found this dolphin fabric. :thumbup: Also found this pattern where you can "crochet" with material. I need something to do when I am unable to set up my sewing machine, a friend suggested taking up crochet but when I saw this pattern I was thrilled...Can't wait to try it. Also saw a quilt in one of the shops done using this Lattice Patch pattern, it was awesome so had to get the pattern. If I had not seen a quilt done I would have never bought this pattern as the picture on the pattern does not appeal to me. I also found this awesome military cut out that I want to make a wall hanging with for my brother in honor of our dad.

Now all I need is time to get started on all of this....:D:D

I was in Georgia in March. My son was very patient while I found some QSs. My favorite was on Saint Simon Island!

Not anything specific at the moment. I have been collecting dolphin material for awhile and intend to make me a quilt one day. Don't know yet what pattern or anything but thought I would probably use this as the backing...

Love the fabric! Which shop did you find the crochet pattern?? A Scarlet Thread is my quilt shop. They are the nicest people and have a wonderful shop! Wish everyone could visit them.

I found the crochet pattern in A Scarlet Thread.....they have another one as well that if for rugs and such. I got turned on to this store from another board member several years back. We have become friends and visit with each other every time I am in the area.

Oh my goodness, I love the dolphin in sunglasses fabric. I too am a dolphin fanatic and have some dolphin fabrics collected. Also have 2 dolphin tattoos :)

I have been thinking about getting a dolphin tattoo but so far have not taken the plunge....:D I did get to go snorkeling with them in January when DH and I took a cruise.....OMG what fun that was....
