These blocks will be hotpads for rein. I wanted to show Patrice that I'm getting there on that whole neat back thing :) LOL.
(Jnebug, yours are started too, I have one fabric I have to pick up to get them completed.) The colors are kinda off...it looks pink, but there's no pink in the fabric at all! The front The back (almost looks better than the front LOL) Close up of the back. I think Grandma would be proud :) |
Lovely! And how does one keep the back so nice??? I have made no progress in that department! Congratulations!
What color is it, if not pink? |
I like that pattern and that is a very very neat back. lol. In a way it kind of looks like a light purple color.

Thanks :) actually its a khaki color with green paisley print and a darker green solid. My cam has severe issues.
I just really paid attention to how I pressed each piece after sewing it. It took me longer...but I think it was worth it :). Now if I don't mess up the quilting, we'll be ok! |
Really nice Lisa!

Patrice is VERY proud!!! :P

Wow--that's looks like a tricky block!! Nice back! It's interesting to see you pressed some open--like the post over in the main section about where to press seams. It's nice to see how sweet it looks with a different option. Thanks for sharing.

That's a beautiful block. I have issues with pressing unless I have written instructions.
|
Neat block, Lisa! Look at the back! I'll work on getting the fronts to look like yours, THEN I'll make the backs pretty!
|
That really is a nice block, front and back. You did good! And it would be pretty in pink too.
