I made this pattern up as I went along with the first one and made a few adjustments to the second one.....I took ideas from many that I have seen and by the time I made the second one it took me just over an hour to make it! Plan to take them over to the craft shop and try to sell them.

I like I like. That is what I want to start making. Yours is very nice!

Those are great!! I've been trying to duplicate one I had gotten a turkey dinner in a bag from at Wally World...but its not turning out nearly as nice as yours!!! Great job!

I love the bags they are great looking. Are you willing to share the pattern?

hi patsy nice bags great job now you can go shopping and fill them with quilting notions and fabrics good job :D :D

I love the grocery bag ! what a great idea you have. Everytime I'm at the grocery store I buy more bags, they are a dollar each, and they aren't very big. so maybe I should make a few. I'm trying to stay away from using those pastic bags they give you.

grocery bags are fantastic.. we use them all the time instead of those ugly flimsy plastic bags.. not to mention much better on the environment too :)
|
Those bags are too pretty to carry groceries! LOL! I bet they will last a lot longer than the $1 bags. And you can wash them too, right? Great idea!

Excellent size and I really like the material. If we can get everybody to use fabric bags the environment may improve for our children and grandchildren. I would love to leave all the extra packaging in the store as they do in Europe!!!It was mandated by law in the 90"s

Like bebe I was wondering if you would share how to make the lovely bags. We are getting told by the government, UK, now to stop using plastic carrier bags and the supermarkets are soon going to charge for them, so your bags would be ideal.
