I know I'm really early, but had to try this! Of those of you that have done twisters, how did you quilt them? I'm thinking just SID, but could do free motion meander. What do you think?

I really like the twister pattern, & I have made one ready to
quilt. I'll post pictures after it is done...............all solid colors in mine. |
Each of the three blocks consists of four 5 inch squares with a 3 1/2 inch cream border on each side. I used the small twister template. Then I just added borders all around, a black flange and a 3 inch outer border. It was fun to work on!

That's a very clever way to use the twister. I'm going to copy this...hope that's ok. I may try it with Christmas fabrics.

I would quilt it with something Hallowe'eny --- bats maybe? They would be fairly simple to FMQ.
