My DDIL asked me to make a quilt for her to raffle for her Quest for the Cure group. I didn't want to make it for only one type of cancer, so I decided on the Happy Daisy pattern and used the cancer ribbon colors as the colors for the daisies. I sent it to a local QS for the long arming. They did a wonderful job using varigated colors in the boarders.

I love it! Have been wanting to make a quilt to hang with all the other wonderful ones at our gorgeous local cancer center. My late sister was treated so well there with her ovarian cancer and we enjoyed moseying up and down the halls looking at their donated quilts. This pattern is perfect for everyone!

I just used plain white. I've had some problems in the past with white on white (sometimes it has a plastic-like quality to it). The LQS quilted with varigated thread in the boarder.
