A beautiful, unusual quilt!

Diane007 asked what the FDHS stand for - it's for Fort Dodge High School - Kayla was a cheerleader there when she died as the result of a car accident. The red and black are the school colors. She was also a "shutter bug" and left her family and friends a wonderful legacy of her short life. She is missed by sooooo many!

Remembering Kayla is the title of this quilt that I made for the 4th Annual Scholarship Run which will be August 25. It will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go for Scholarships. Kayla's Grandma lives next door to us and we know her entire family. Her Mom said it was o.k. to enter it at the Iowa State Fair and guess what - it won a blue ribbon - happy dance, happy dance! I'm hoping it will bring good money at the auction.
