A happy, happy quilter!!!

We spent the morning exploring estate and garage sales and ran into a couple of fantastic fabric deals! I bought part of what is pictured below at an estate sale and part at a garage sale, for a total of 29+ yards of fabric, plus the extra pieces already cut that were in several separate baggies! Some of the pieces are quite large, with one being 6 yards, another at 5 yards and some at 2 1/2 yards.
If I were to just average it out at about $7 a yard it would all come to over $200, not counting the extra pre-cut pieces! ALL of this for a grand total of only $10. I'm a happy camper...er...quilter! lol :D |

Watching these bargains makes me want to go to more garage sales!

Very lucky. Here in Tasmania I hardly ever see fabric suitable for quilting at garage sales or op shops.

Wow, what a great day you had.

I guess I have to start attending garage/estate sales!

Funny, Terri! lol You're probably right, since DH actually ASKS for fabrics and machines, etc, when we arrive at each and every sale. lol
