I'm definitely not ready for curves, either but love to see how well others manage to patterns with them. Lovely quilt and the black background really makes the other colors pop!!

It was more time consuming than hard.
You just make three different sizes of your shape, make sure your fabrics are different on each size. Sew them on top of each other. Then cut up and down then across into 4 quadrants. Don't bother top left stack, top right stack, move top piece to bottom, bottom right, move two pieces to bottom, bottom left, move three pieces to bottom. Then sew the quadrants back together. (Clear as mud?) Mine did not always match up quite perfectly, but the jest of the idea is still there and that was all that mattered to me. |
