Here is a lap-size quilt I made for stepdaughter's Christmas gift. The inspection team had to be included in the pics.

WOW... great job.. ooo cute doggy he likes it!
That is beautiful and it all matches . did the inspector give his ok ? He's sweet :D
Very pretty! Looks like a pretty big quilt. Is that hand quilting I see????
Thank you...
It could probably be used on a twin-size bed. Yes, I hand-quilt 98% of my stuff (not that I've done much). They are sisters and totally love each other but have totally different personalities. The bottom one gave her approval by rubbing all over it. So my granddoggies are sure to love smelling it/checking out the new scents when it gets home. |
I made this quilt several years ago, it's so different after it's washed. I love this pattern.
GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!! Its beautiful
Like it a lot. Are the hearts going to fay when washed? That will look good. Love that black background.
Cool quilt! I love the colors and your doxies too. I grew up with mini's, aren't they the best?
Love it. Looks like you cute inspector has clamedit for himself. Can't blame him.
Great quilt! Another quilter with Doxies! They are adorable. Mine has "bad ear day" too!
Yes, it is supposed to fray.
Usually it's the bottom one that has the "bad ear" syndrome, but I have taken pics where they both had the same ear flipped and looking alike. Spoiled rotten they are!! But aren't all "dogchildren" |
Wow -- I love it!!
I love it and I'm thinking she will too.
Your step daughter should just love it! Love the brights and darks together.

I'm definitely not ready for curves, either but love to see how well others manage to patterns with them. Lovely quilt and the black background really makes the other colors pop!!
It was more time consuming than hard.
You just make three different sizes of your shape, make sure your fabrics are different on each size. Sew them on top of each other. Then cut up and down then across into 4 quadrants. Don't bother top left stack, top right stack, move top piece to bottom, bottom right, move two pieces to bottom, bottom left, move three pieces to bottom. Then sew the quadrants back together. (Clear as mud?) Mine did not always match up quite perfectly, but the jest of the idea is still there and that was all that mattered to me. |
that is one sweet-heart!
Love this pattern!!! Great job!!
Great quilt, she is going to love it. Cute inspectors too :D
