Well, I thought that I would try a OBW from my Yard Sale find...and now I can't stop! I think I will have enough to make a Cal King Bed Runner/Foot Warmer.
I modified the Stack-n-Whack method that Beth Reynolds taught (do not have a OBW book). I made it from the panels only, measuring the repeats lengthwise. I am going to use some of the left over fabric for the back and the green stripe for the border. This is just put together on the guest bed, so don't look too closely at the the whole, just wanted to show off the blocks. Final measurements will be about 28" x 60". I think. Thanks for looking. 7 yards of original fabric -- cost me $1 !! One panel that will make two strips Panel cut in half One block wonder This is a rough draft of one end More blocks I used some scraps of a strip to make a half circle to complete the runner |
looks pretty...I have a OBW ON MY DESIGN WALL...still. I wish I had saved enough for a border. Yours looks like it will be beautiful..post finished pictures.

I think I would like to do a OBW, but have no idea how to begin. Now I know to buy a lot of fabric. Thanks for sharing.
