The first quilt is called "Kind of Blue", with apologies to Miles Davis and one of his best albums. It is the tumbling block pattern done in a pastiche of blues. Lap size with cotton batting.
The second quilt is called "Schoolhouse" and was one of three made from the same pattern as gifts for one of my sisters, a school art teacher, one of my sister-in-laws, who worked as a school administrative assistant and is now retired. Her husband, a math teacher, who retired with thirty years of service. All three of these quilts are lap sized, with cotton batting. The third one is Hollow Tumbling Block pattern, and done in a spectrum of reds. Lap sized and cotton batting. This is one of my own keepers, because I love the pattern. One of a series of quilts that were done in the Thousand piece quilt style This is a quilt I was commissioned to do to hang in our Library computer area. It is another one of the Thousand piece quilt style. 4' x 8' The Double Irish Chain This one is called The Sun Never Sets on the Amish Empire This one is the Ohio Star, made for my Sister-in-Law.
