That's very cool! Was it hard to put to together?

Blue Bell 04-14-2009 12:08 PM

Your quilt is great. I started one a couple of years ago. I sewed my strips, now I have to sew the strips together. Perhaps this will be my next UFO that I finish. What is the size of your quilt before you put on the borders? You have inspired me to get mine done. Thanks!!!

That came out so pretty. How many blocks are there and how long did it take you to make it?

(I am sorry that I did not know you were looking for fabric-I would have been happy to send you some. I am guilty of not reading the fabric swaps threads  )

It was very easy to put together. I can't remember the size of it but the tumblers were 4" and there were 18 across including the half tumblers on the ends. Thanks for the compliments!

I LOVE IT!!!!!! Look at all those colors.... HEAVEN :D

butterflywing 04-16-2009 06:31 PM

did you lay them out completely randomly? just pick them up without regard as to color placement or are they planned?

wesing 04-16-2009 07:47 PM

That is a great quilt. It looks so old-fashioned and cozy, like something my grandmother would have made (I mean that in a good way). I hope she has many happy sleeps with that quilt.

I was pretty random but I did make sure there weren't two next to each other that were close in color.
