I'm in the quilting stage now, which will probably take me several months to complete. We have a local quilt show in September/October, so my goal is to have it ready in time for that.

Here's a link to my blog, describing my process: http://messygoat.com/?p=1026#content

This is absolutely stunning. When I first looked at it, I thought of "Starry Night." Then, lo and behold, your blog said that was what you were replicating.
I love your block choice and fabric arrangement.
This is definitely something you should be proud of.
How big is it?

Wow, that is so cool. I have questions, of course  I guess I will have to go check out your blog. Welcome to the board.

That is just amazing. Van Gogh is one of my favorite impressionists and your quilt captures the same 'feeling' that I get when I view the painting. Brilliant :-)

You are so talented to replicate a painting like this! Awesome piecing and planning out this replication of a Van Gogh! Can not wait to see this completed!

You need to sell the pattern. It is wonderful. I would love a quilt like that.

2105 pieces in the interior originally (I cut off all the white ones around the edges when I added the frame, though), but I have no idea how many are in the frame. Lots and lots of 1" squares.

My first thought, too, was Starry Night. You did an amazing job with this! Isn't it exciting to see your vision come to life?

Incredible! I hope you win big in your show!
