This quilt is so ADORABLE!!
This is 3 of 3.... The pattern is called "Hooterville" you can get it on the connecting threads website. I think they have kits as well...this was not a kit. AKbelles sent this and wanted it quilted pretty heavily. Pebbling around the owls and swirls around the trees..if you notice the trees and green border fabric has little swirls in the pattern (so cute) ...She said that I could use my imagination for the brown borders...I thought a wood grain type of design would look good..then upon further discussion the word "hoot" in various places in the brown border as well. I decided to kind of blend the word "hoot" in different sized loop-de-loops in the final border.....It is a great quilt! Her needle turn applique is absolutely perfect! The threads are long in the pictures because she is going to bury them when it arrives back home... I quilted this free hand on my INNOVA..no computer or pantograph quilting. AK sent me Warm and Natural batting for the quilt. Thanks for looking! back |

Your hooterville is cute. I have about a yard and half and john deere. You just gave me an idea of what to do with it. Thanks for sharing.
