I need your help. I just finished a Halloween quilt that I want to share and post and it's not happening for me. I've read and reread the instructions. I've clicked the "Browse" button for attachment, get my picture...the place for C/users does say JPC format. but nothing sends. Maybe it isnt' in JPC form. What am I doing wrong? My son posted my avitar for me and did it sooo fast I didn't get it then either. Thank you.

On your computer, look at what appears after the dot. It should say jpg. So if your quilt picture name is "MyQuilt" then when you are choosing your file, you should see
"MyQuilt.jpg"

and, don't try to preview...your picture won't show up.

Remember, DON'T preview after you click browse and get your pic. If you preview you'll lose the pic.

Most of the time it takes quite awhile for the picture to send. I wait and wait for mine and I have high speed. Maybe you just aren't giving it enough time to send.

If your picture is too large, it won't go thru. See if you can rezie the photo in whatever program you edit your photos in... then you can save it as "name.jpg"

If you need to resize the photo there are websites where you can do it for free. Just google "resize photos online free"

Once you have loaded the picture, DO NOT click off of that screen or preview. Once picture is up on your screen, then you can change screens, but not before.

It is the same as posting a thread or comment on here: if you hit SEND then hit the back button before the SEND part is finished, you will have a double or triple or... post.
We must learn to be patient for just a few seconds before going on to the next thing.

One more thing - please be sure you turn the pictures the correct way to view them. When folks post pics on here that are sidewys, I don't even look as it is very irritating and hurts my neck to strain to look at them. YOu can turn the pictures by way of the arrows on teh program you are using. It may take you more than one turn to get it correct. Have fun.
