Thought I'd share how I "corral" my binding while attaching it to the quilt top by machine.
I wrap it around my fingers and then put it on the second spool pin on my machine... When working on a big quilt like this, I have a card table that I place to the left of my body to help hold the body of the quilt so I'm not fighting to keep it on the sewing table. binding on extra spool pin [ATTACH=CONFIG]100095[/ATTACH] showing card table to left of work area [ATTACH=CONFIG]100096[/ATTACH] |

Great ideal , I also put a cut off straw on my exter thread holder and put my big cone's of thread on them it works great also.Thanks for the tip. :-D :thumbup:

That's a wonderful idea IF you have a machine like yours! My machine unfortunately has the spools in the back! Any suggestions anybody?
