I am a HERO for a month
 

I have never done a photo on here, so lets hope this works.

I was awarded our guild's "Unsung Hero Award" at our monthly neeting on Thursday evening. it is for a person who has done a lot for the guild. We currently have 515 members. I joined 25 years ago. it is quite an honor and i get to keep the traveling trophy for a month and then pick the next recipient. It is made from our guild pins.

Congratulations! And thank you. So many people expect that guilds or other organizations just run themselves, or that the only important members are the "famous names". It's nice to see recognition to the people who really make them work for everyone.

We are a large guild and we had so mant pins from previous years and pins aren't nearly as popular as they were previously. So one of our members made this as a traveling trophy. Yje honor is super, the trophy for a month, a great conversation piece.
