I made Rhonda's star block from the instructions on making a mouse pad. I am in awe and love for this block; mine's not perfect

  42 to go for that quilt.
Great colors

Quilting is about love not perfection! LOL It looks fantastic!! So now what are you going to do with it?
The Star Points are one of my favorites. You can take those same S.P. blocks and turn them differant ways to get other looks for your quilt block. It is sooo much fun!

Congratulations! It looks great. Sometimes our favorite quilts (or blocks) are not always the ones that are perfect. You have a good eye for balancing color.

I could not do PP that well if I tried for ever. There was only one perfect person.

It's not done with paper piecing. It is done with my cut down method. You sew two pieces of fabric together. You cut the angle with my 3" scored template(free) and then you sew on the other fabric on the other side. Position your template and cut out a square from the center. It is so easy to do. Then you take the Star Point Blocks and sew them together into the quilt block of your choice.
