Some people will do anything to get something. I am trading
doll clothes for a a free arm and small embroidery hoop for
my embroidery machine. It took me almost three weeks to
finish the doll clothes, like I said some people will do anything
for a bargin. LOL

Oh mouse those are very sweet baby doll clothes. You did a great job on them!

Marcia 03-24-2009 05:22 PM

I wish I had the dolly these fit as I could play all day with such finery.

Fabulous job!

Those are great!! What size doll are they for? I used to make Barbie clothes for my daughter when she was little. Now making them for my granddaughters - I swear those patterns have shrunk! lol!!!
And how totally great you're getting things for your embroidery machine! :D

They are for a 14" to 16" baby doll. I made an outfit for a friends
daughter that was an 18" American doll. They are much easier to
make. Whomever comes along next with a trade, I hope it is a
bigger doll. LOL
Thanks to everyone for the nice words.

MollieSue 03-24-2009 05:41 PM

I've also made cabbage patch clothes, which were much easier too!
Your's really turned out beautifully!!! :-)

Shemjo 03-24-2009 05:45 PM

Doll clothes can be really fun, but they can also be a lot of fussy work! Those are very cute.

these are lovely ! I have lived where Lee Middleton dolls are manufactured. ( Belpre Ohio ) A neighbor of mine was a dress maker for the dolls. These could be part of that ! Very professional !!! Wow ! Thanks for sharing !

Wow! They are adorable. You did a great job.

Joan 03-30-2009 09:21 PM

Mouse, you did such a nice job. My other love (besides quilting) is collecting dolls and making doll clothes that fit properly is quite a skill. It is no easy taks! (to buy clothes like the ones you made at a doll show would be expensive, too)

You did a great job!
