and here it is. I tried something new...adding piping to the quilt as a thin border vs. just the fabric. I'm not really sure it worked well for me and I might take it apart. I haven't pressed it yet, so I'm sure that will help. I found a brick to use as binding and the back will be the exact same fabric as the outer border.

Very Pretty! I love those fabrics! I tried the piping thing on some pillow shams once and wasnt real happy either. I am sure it was just something I was doing wrong because It looks great on yours and others I have seen!

The piping is a definite keeper. It frames the quilt beautifully. You might want to check out Susan Cleveland's site. I think she is the 'queen of piping.

That turned out gorgeous, sandpat! The piping does set it off beautifully; if you can't live with it, you could always replace it with a folded border in a similar color. Either way, great job :thumbup:
