I think she's got it!!!!
These are just great!! I love the way you did the bookmarks. I hadn't thought of that way of setting the blocks down the middle! These are really pretty. I love making bookmarks because they don't take alot of time to make. I am so happy to have shared this with you!! And then to have you share your finished products with us is just the most fantastic experience!! I know everyone at the fundraiser will love these!! You definately deserve all the praise! |

I don't know if you want to do this but I like to sew a seam along the edge to give it a finished look. I like a tailored look and the finish seam will secure the edges of the bookmark.
Just a thought. You can make the seam less noticable by matching the thread. |
Holy Cow!!! Those are tiny pieces!!! They are beautiful :D :D :D
|
YEP!! :D You definately got it!! :D
Your little projects are truly great. You have done a wonderful job piecing them together. :D :D :D :D :D |
Great job!! Such small blocks and so precise. I can't image working on such small sizes.

Thanks everyone for the kind words--Once you get started it's gets easier. I keep looking for big projects I would like to down size. When you are starting mini's use squares and rectangles first. Then move up to triangles. Now that I've got the uploading down I hope to share more of my projects.

Rhonda--like the Indian hatchet design in the bookmark. I thought about topstitching as you show in your tut; I used Heat N Bond Lite in these two and opted not to TS.

Gosh, those are nice!
