The following are mini's I did for the upcoming school fundraiser. For the blocks I only use left overs and scraps--I will only cut off of a fat quarter or larger for borders and bindings. Many triangle squares are the left overs from FG etc.
Finished blocks are 3 1/2 "--left overs from a snowball quilt 1 1/2" blocks--total size 7 1/2 x 8 1/2 " I used 3/4 " strips for these log cabins |
very cute idea an you can do them after you do a quilt.

Wow, these mini-quilts like this just boggle my mind! Amazing that you all can work in such small terms like this. Great work!

These are great. Like the mini log cabin!!!
|
Great job ! I cannot imagine working with anything that small

It really isn't that hard is it? I am so happy to see you taking off like this!! You are just doing wonderful with these!!! I love them all!
|
Thanks to all of you and especially Rhonda. I've found the minis to be such an addiction--what am I going to do with those 2 and 3 yard pieces of fabric I have (just kidding) Quilt guild friends even save pieces for me

You did a real good job of matching the HSTs on each side of the sashings in your Bear's Paw and yes it is still a Bear's Paw. Great Job on those! Matching those is not easy I should know! I have done a lot of those over the years!! That can be the hardest part about making the Bear's Paws.
I love the purple fabrics you used in this also. I have a strong preferance for a lot of contrast so this is great. |
Oooo more fund raisers!!! Good Job!!! :D :D :D

You have certainly learned the
technique of working with the mini blocks. They are wonderful. Hope you do well with the fund raiser. :D :D :D :D |
