Guess what Angie....
I'm made the same quilt for my grandson Austin last year. I had the kit in a bag for about a year and felt I best get to it before he graducated from school and would be to old for it. He's almost three... how time fly. I love the print and wish now that I had made mine larger like you did, but it's not to late I'm sure I can add a couple more borders on it one day, for now it's just a throw. I really like the way you put yours together... |
Love that quilt ! Where did you ladies get the kit ?

Great Quilt! I love the layout. My granddaughter turns one in August, and something like that would be fun, maybe with fairies or flowers. Thanks for the idea!

Love it!

Mr friend gave me a panel of that....hmm...just dug it out, it's from Michael Miller C-2008 Transportation, if that helps anyone find it.

Very cute!

Love that quilt. I especially like the way you've embroidered label right on the quilt.

Chrissie,
I love your quilt and the lay out. The embroidery is an extra special touch! My grandson is four, I gave it to him on his third birthday. If I were you I'd keep that one just as it is and have your grandson "help" you pick out the next one. I think the second one I made Landon was a "monster truck" rag quilt. He's quite the daredevil! I don't have a pic of that yet, but will get it soon to show you. You can do one of those fast. If in a hurry a small one can be done in a day and a large one in two. |
This is real cute, Crissie! I would make one too if I could find the kit. Then I would be a copycat of a copycat. LoL!

Too cute
